EU Referendum 23 June 2016

The referendum on whether Britain should remain a member of the European Union was held on Thursday, 23 June 2016. The turnout in the Referendum on the United Kingdom's membership of the European Union in Ryedale was 77.2%. See the 'Certificate of verification totals' attachment for further information.

The local EU Referendum results for the Ryedale voting area were as follows:

Ryedale   77.2%  14,340  17,710  19

The total number of ballot papers verified was 32,069

The total number of eligible electors was 41,529
