Development control - enforcement
- Category: Planning applications
- Last Updated: 27 April 2015
As part of development control enforcement the Council deals with breaches of planning control and investigates complaints about unauthorised development.
If you go ahead with your development without your required permission, we may ask you to make a retrospective planning application.
If it is decided that permission should not be granted we may require you to put things back as they were.
You can appeal but, if the verdict comes out against you, and you still refuse to comply you may be prosecuted.
Details of Enforcement Notices can be found on the Planning Register click NEXT to acknowledge the disclaimers. You will come to the Simple Search screen where you can select Enforcement.
